South cottage boasts Sun, space, and superb countryside, Sussex has it all and Twineham Grange Farm South Cottage is right at the heart of it – when you wake up here, the South Downs really are right on your doorstep and Brighton is a mere ten miles away, with more history, culture, shopping and food than you could shake a sizeable stick of rock at. There’s plenty of room for the whole family as well as your four-legged friends.
Open the front door of the cottage and take in the gorgeous open-plan ground floor. The beautiful exposed beam ceiling and great views over the countryside make this the perfect place to get together and catch up amid stunning surroundings, or simply sit back, relax and enjoy some quiet time.
There are two comfortable ground floor bedrooms in the cottage, one king-size double and one twin, which share a family bathroom, then via the exposed oak staircase, you’ll find the master bedroom, which boasts a king-size double bed and a spacious ensuite bathroom.
For a moment of tranquillity (which might mean when the small people are catching forty winks), there’s really nowhere better to take in the surrounding countryside than from the comfort of the patio, which has its own comfortable seating area – trust us, it’s tried and tested!
Inside, creature comforts are the name of the game in this immaculately clean, light, airy bolthole, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the outside world. The cottage has underfloor heating throughout, wifi, washing machine, dishwasher, cooker, microwave, iron and hairdryer.
The cottage sleeps six people and if it’s privacy you’re after, (or piece of mind for little people who enjoy running around), its accessed via a private gate and driveway, and has a fenced garden area. You have the entire home to yourself for the duration of your stay.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION : Please note, there is currently building works on-going on the site to the right of both North and South Cottage. The building work is throughout Monday - Saturday, only between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00. Guests have not had any issues with the building work disturbing their stay however we cannot guarantee this will be the case for every guest and would suggest if guests are concerned that they may be disrupted, to not proceed with booking.
Travelling by car: The property is within an hour of London. Take a drive down some lovely country lanes to our cosy country cottage. We offer a full guide including diving directions on your welcome messages.
Traveling by coach: The National Express Coach service to London Victoria can be found at the Hickstead Roundabout, a five minute-drive from the cottages.
Travelling by train: The nearest train stations, offering frequent services to London, Gatwick and the south coast are at Hassocks and Burgess Hill, which are both a ten-minute drive from the cottages.

The cottage is directly adjoined to another cottage which can accommodate a further six people with the same facilities so both cottages can be booked to accommodate a total of 12 people.
If you require use of cot and highchair please specify at time if booking so we can ensure it's available for your stay.
Please note: Well behaved dogs are welcome, with a additional fee of £20 in total for the duration of your stay. Please note, this only applies to stays shorter than 14 days. Should your stay be longer than 14 days, an additional fee may apply. Please always notify us of any pets joining you on your stay, upon booking.
