Please note, there is currently building works on-going on the site to the right of both North and South Cottage. The building work is throughout Monday - Saturday, only between the hours of 08:00 - 16:00. Guests have not had any issues with the building work disturbing their stay however we cannot guarantee this will be the case for every guest and would suggest if guests are concerned that they may be disrupted, to not proceed with booking
Twineham Grange Farm North Cottage is located in Sussex, with access to sun, sea and superb countryside! It is right at the heart of it – when you wake up here, the South Downs really are right on your doorstep and Brighton is a mere ten miles away, with more history, culture, shopping and food than you could imagine.
Bring your wellies and your bike, because there is just so much to see. Set in the heart of the Adur Valley, famed for its 20 mile-long idyllic stretch of river, you are perfectly located to make like Jerome K Jerome and start messing about in boats. Or perhaps the surrounding South Downs that have inspired authors from Blake to Belloc and Tennyson to Kipling are more your scene – the walking and cycling options are endless.
Twineham itself boasts beautiful St Peter’s Church – built in 1516. In neighbouring Wineham, (which is ten minutes on foot or five in the car, if you’ve worn yourself out taking in all the scenery), you’ll find The Royal Oak Pub, which is a great option for both a well-earned drink and a hearty meal.
You will have the whole of the cottage to yourselves. The cottage sleeps six people. If it’s privacy you’re after, or peace of mind for little people who enjoy running around, the property is accessed via a private gate and driveway. It has a fenced garden area. The cottage is directly adjoined to another cottage which can accommodate a further six people to the same high standards, so both cottages can be booked to accommodate a total of twelve people.
Travelling by car: Take yourself on a drive through the winding country roads and turn left onto our gravel track. Open he private entrance to your holiday home of dreams. Only a 20-25 minute drive into the heart of Brighton or an Hour and a half into London if you fancy a bit or hustle and bustle in the city.
Travelling by train: The property is within an hour train of London. The nearest train stations with frequent services to London, Gatwick and the south coast are Hassocks and Burgess Hill, which are both a ten-minute drive from the cottages.
Travelling by coach: The National Express Coach service to London Victoria can be found at the Hickstead Roundabout, a five-minute drive from the cottages.

Please note: Well behaved dogs are welcome, with an additional fee of £20 per dog for the duration of your stay. Please note, this only applies to stays shorter than 14 days. Should your stay be longer than 14 days, an additional fee may apply. Please always notify us of any pets joining you on your stay, upon booking.
