On street parking is available outside the cottage. If you're a keen golfer, the Eden Golf course is less than 1 mile away while the river Eden itself is a paradise for the trout angler. Enjoy windsurfing and canoeing at Talkin Tarn, just 5 miles away, or simply take a leisurely walk around the Tarn itself. Carlisle is set in the county of Cumbria, situated just 10 miles south of the Scottish Borders and is nicknamed the Border City.
