Positive: Despite the things mentioned above, the actual cottage was lovely; spacious and well decorated. It was a very pleasant surprise that we had a full size garden and large outdoor table and chairs aswell as sun loungers. The kitchen was also very well equipped with a full size dishwasher with tablets provided and a washing machine. Although the location was very rural it was also centrally located for all the seaside towns and other attractions.

Negative: Although we knew in advance, not that happy that we couldn't arrive until after 4pm and had to leave by 10am. This gave them 6 hours to clean yet we were expected to do most of it ourselves! I know they'll blame it on covid like everyone else but just felt like we were paying the same price for less time there. Also pretty sure we weren't advised about no Wi-Fi until after we booked. Could do with another small bin and no recycling facilities at all. The surrounding roads were extremely narrow lanes, single track and difficult to navigate. Also, as others have mentioned, during the last couple of days there was an extremely unpleasant smell in the top bathroom every time the bottom toilet was flushed.
