Positive: Liked... everything. The room was very smart and tastefully decorated with a high quality duvet, huge corner sofa and cushions etc. All aspects were premium from the John Lewis towels to the M&S hand wash and locally sourced organic milk. Internet was reliable. The place itself had a peaceful, humble feel to it. The lodge is located down the side of a beautiful main home, with dedicated parking and fenced off courtyard area. Although the host was friendly and easily reachable we never actually met, she left me to it which I really appreciated. I felt very comfortable there coming and going as and when I wanted. The shower was awesome, and the combination of curtains and blinds meant a dark, quiet room which was brilliant for a good night's sleep. I didn't use the well equipped kitchen. The area itself is gorgeous, I was only staying here due to working at the local RAF base, but I drove through plenty of stunning forest and small windy roads which dog owners would definitely appreciate. I'm hopefully due back in a month and this would strongly be my first choice. I travel around the country a lot, and for my needs this location blows hotels and B&Bs out the water. It's a well put together stay and I'm keen to return.

Negative: Didn't like... that I wasted the week before in a local hotel when I could have been here!
