After a hectic career of more than 20 years in the world of luxury in Paris, Christophe and Frédéric settled in Provence in 2012. They initially restored the Mas des Akènes at Cairanne which has 2 independent cottages (The Suite of Akènes and Loft Akènes). Then, in 2019, their passion for Provence led them to embark on a new project by acquiring a winery in the prestigious vineyards of Gigondas located 7 km from Cairanne. The house dating back to the 50's needed to be seriously taken over, its layout and gardens redesigned. The start of the project is therefore in July 2019, the goal being to be fully ready for the summer of 2020.
November 2019, the interior design work is almost completed, and the Loft spirit with its beautiful metal openings type "artist's studio" is already there. The pool is also built and put in water. The garden will be landscaped between autumn and spring, and major outdoor work will begin in March (3 months are planned). For this reason, for the moment are only present on the site 3D simulations of the outside, while for the interior they are real photos.

The landscaped garden of Provençal species (plane tree, olive trees, cypresses, lavender, rosemary, jasmine ...) of 1.000m2, surrounded by 100% organic vines, offers a breathtaking view of the vineyards. The private secure swimming pool (6x3m) is facing South, totally sheltered from view.
You will enjoy for your moments of relaxation to the song of the cicadas, of four terraces. One around the pool, one to the east to contemplate nature, one in the West converted into a dining area under its pergola and surrounded by vineyards, finally the fourth terrace is located on the first floor accessible directly from 2 rooms or from the garden.
The Clos de Gigondas (180m2) can comfortably accommodate up to 9 people. On the ground floor a large living space fully open with its kitchen, dining room, living room and TV lounge for the whole family. At this same level is also a bedroom with a double bed, a shower room and a toilet. Upstairs, which is air-conditioned, a large corridor serves 2 bedrooms with double bed, a bedroom with 2 single beds, a bedroom with a single bed, two shower rooms and a separate toilet.
Two parking spaces in the garden complete the whole.
