A perfect family base for exploring the English South Coast nestled between the attractions and natural beauty of Portsmouth, Hayling Island and Chichester. You may want to leave your car in the reserved parking space for the week because so much is within easy reach. Havant has plenty of cafes, pubs, restaurants and shops and when you’re eating in there is an M&S food Hall, Waitrose and Tescos all within a few minutes’ walk. Havant bus and train stations are also only a short walk away, with excellent links to London Waterloo for a day trip to the capital. Walk slightly further afield and you can discover the picturesque Langstone Harbour with it’s traditional waterfront pubs and beautiful coastal walks.
The apartment was tastefully renovated in 2006 from a ruined Victorian leather factory and is full of character, the centre piece being the huge open plan living area and kitchen. Sink back into the leather sofas and enjoy the selection of DVDs, CDs and even some classic PlayStation 2 games, which younger visitors may enjoy. (There is Lego too which the young and old can enjoy together!) The open plan kitchen comes equipped with everything you will need to cook for yourself and enjoy family meals around the modern dining room table.
