Within easy reach of Skye, Ullapool, Plockton, Eilean Donan Castle and Inverness for day trips, this part of Wester Ross is famous for dolphins, whales and seabirds, and the area has beautiful beaches as well as being a superb area for climbing and hill walking, with the dramatic Torridon mountain range as a backdrop. Horse riding is also available at Red Point (3 miles), and there is a nine-hole golf course in Gairloch. Fishing opportunities are located nearby.
