We would definitely recommend bringing binoculars and a camera. Whether it is a long walk or sitting on the decking with marsh harriers and hobbies flying overhead, The Retreat is the perfect getaway. You can walk 30 minutes to Thorpeness beach for breakfast or lunch and Aldeburgh is only two miles away.
