For days out, head to the coast and the traditional resorts of Mablethorpe and Skegness to the east or head west towards the cathedral city of Lincoln, also famous for its castle and new Magna Carta Visitor Centre. Nearby Woodthorpe has an 18-hole golf course, driving range and coarse fishing, as well as a large garden centre with a restaurant. Beach 8 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.
