Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The studio was a haven of calm in a quiet residential district, but just a 10 minutes walk to the station then just 40 minutes by train (every half hour) to the bustle and noise of central Amsterdam. Everything seemed almost new and fully working (the kettle, the oven, the shower etc) and there was plenty of everything (cutlery, crockery, towels etc).

Negative: Everything was good, though being super critical I'd have preferred a microwave to an oven; also so many towels etc were provided there wasn't much cupboard space for things such as my clothes !!

Summary: Tulips and Cheese - a stereotypical Dutch spring weekend
