We rent two apartments in total (our other apartment is 8240996, see this for more reviews) and these are located next to each other in a real Fries Dijkhuisje with BEAUTIFUL WIDE VIEW over the IJsselmeer. From your living room, bedroom and or roof terrace you can enjoy a panorama of passing classic ships and in the evening a beautiful sunset. These cozy apartments are situated in a very unique and quiet location on the dike in the historic part of Stavoren, a picturesque 'Elfsteden-town' in the province of Friesland. The nearest IJsselmeer sandy beach, where you can bathe, is a 2-minute walk away.
The apartments are as good as identical; In size (35 m2) and style on the first floor with the same fantastic view! Both apartments of Sleeping on the IJsselmeer are fully self-contained; With private entrance, private bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin) and own simple kitchen. This means you have complete privacy. The living room has a dining and seating area, a large double bed and a cozy roof terrace overlooking the lake. There is also a separate room with 2 single beds with views over the canal in the front. Each apartment has free WIFI and digital TV (70+ channels) and parking in front of the door is free.
Both the train station, ferry and the supermarket (The COOP) are within walking distance of the apartment. Are you planning to bring bicycles? These can be parked sheltered and covered next to the apartment.
