Sandwich holds a wealth of cultural heritage being one of the Cinque Ports. The town is recognised as one of the best preserved medieval towns in the country and is now in ownership of its own Magna Carta. Sandwich is awash with things to see and do, much of it enjoyed on foot without needing to get back in the car. The ancient courtroom and museum can be located in the Guildhall. It really is a delight with timber-framed houses leaning over narrow streets.
