With the beach just 7km away, after getting a breath of fresh air, you return for a relaxing drink in the spacious garden where the children also play safely. Or sit until late in the evening in the cosy covered lounge-corner. Infinite peace and quiet!
Bringing or renting bicycles is always a good idea. From here you can enjoy cycling through the rural surroundings. Choose one day to go to the wide sandy beach of Egmond aan Zee. This well-known seaside resort is also the place where you can find nice shops and restaurants. The other day, seek out the peace and quiet of the nearby forest. Or go sniff culture in Alkmaar, within 15 minutes you are at the waagplein where you can taste a good piece of cheese and Dutch beer. If you like golf or would like to try this sport for a day you can go next door. The Heiloo 9-hole golf course is known as an A-status course
