The space
This characterful Country estate is perfect for family and friends to get together. With that being said, we do have a no hen/stag party rule that we ask guests to abide by.
The nearest entrance from the car parking area leads you into the entrance hall. To the left there are stairs leading to the first floor and next to the stairs you will see the entrance to Willow bedroom, which is a twin ground floor bedroom that is well equipped for guests with reduced mobility.
To the right, there is a door leading to the back hall, with a downstairs toilet and the preferred space for dogs to sleep. There is a door from the hall leading into the sitting room and another leading to the kitchen.
As you walk into the kitchen, you will find all the cooking appliances and utensils to the right, including a Tassimo Coffee machine and, to the left, a large breakfast table that comfortably sits ten. There is a conservatory at the end of the kitchen that seats four and doors leading into the spacious garden with seating for twelve. The garden leads onto a tennis court which is open to guests and there are also plenty of garden games for guests to enjoy.
As you walk through the kitchen to the front hall, there is a pantry and downstairs toilet to the right. Follow it round to the main stairs on the left and the dining hall is through a door on the right. The grand dining hall sits 14 with an add on table for an additional 3 guests. You can then walk through the dining hall to the drawing room where games are available for guests to enjoy. There is also an additional conservatory next to the dining hall.
Upstairs, there is a bathroom to the right with a bath and overhead shower and opposite is Birch bedroom with a single bed.
Straight ahead is Oak bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite bathroom that boasts a bath and overhead shower.
As you walk back along the landing, you will a find shower room to the left and Juniper bedroom to the right which is a twin bedroom with a connecting door into Ash bedroom, which is a king bedroom with an en-suite featuring a walk- in shower.
As you walk out of Ash bedroom, you will find Cherry bedroom to the right, which is a double and beyond that there are stairs which lead down to the back hall. Walk passed the stairs and turn right to find a link corridor across to Holly bedroom which is a twin and Larch straight ahead, which is a single. There is also a family bathroom with a bath and separate shower and opposite the bathroom is Maple bedroom with a king size bed.
Downstairs leads back to Willow bedroom which has a large en-suite with a bath and separate walk in shower. There is also storage here, where you will find a high chair, travel cot etc.
There is a door from Willow leading into the utility room with a washing machine, and dryer. You can also access the utility room via an external door for guests not wanting to walk through Willow bedroom to access the facilities.
Guest access
Guest have access to the entire house, apart from a few locked storage cupboards.
Other things to note
We have a maximum of two pets per booking.
Additional rules
Pets are not allowed in the bedrooms or on any of the furniture. There is plenty of room downstairs for pets to sleep or there is the option of the outside kennels.
No stag or hen parties please.
