Summary: Hosted a 40th bday party and Old Newton was great. We had a party of 16 so added on on site gatehouse to our reservation. The property is massive with several large common areas that can accommodate a large group. There are a lot of steep and narrow stairs so folks with mobility issues may have a challenge. But you can’t have a 15th century castle without stairs! Central location with easy access to Stirling, Edinburg, and Glasgow. Great experience and gracious host. 5 stars all around
