Great Yarmouth Stadium has different evenings for Greyhound Racing and Stock-car/banger racing – my children love this, very noisy, great fun!
Caister Castle is worth a visit, can do this in half a day, in my opinion, very own car collection if you are interested in cars.
There are plenty of places to visit depending on the children’s ages Petits Animal Adventure Park, Church Road, Reedham, Norfolk book online you get discounted tickets. Open everyday, about 11 miles away.
Market Days in Great Yarmouth are Wednesday and Saturday all year round.
Ride the snails at Joyland, Great Yarmouth Sea Front, is a must, even for adults!
Pleasurewood Hills further a field, if you are looking for adrenaline rollercoaster – Wipeout is the tallest, faster and most extreme rollercoaster in the East of England, apparently! At Great Yarmouth you have the Pleasure Beach where you can ride an old rickety wooden rollercoaster and there is a log flume, you will get wet if you go on!
Bewilderwood 10 am – 5.30 p.m. is a fun day out, Sat Nav NR12 8JW, it is not cheap in my opinion. We always take plenty of drinks and a picnic. Take a lazy boat ride across the scary lake, brave the broken bridge, whizz down the wobbly wires and be baffled by the sky maze.
