Cosy up beside the wood-burning stove, explore the vast country woodland estate and experience a sustainable Scottish holiday like no other.
The space
This quaint bothy has been carefully designed with sustainability in mind. It enjoys light and contemporary décor and is inspired by Scottish timber and Scandinavian design throughout.
As you step through the large sliding doors, you will be greeted by the scent of pure wood from the solid timber walls. The open-plan living space comprises a two-seater sofa and a single designer armchair, perfectly positioned to admire panoramic views. After a day of exploring the historical estate, relax and unwind beside the log-burning stove with a warming cup of tea in hand.
Venture over to the kitchenette where you will have access to a hob, a combi steam-convection oven, a fridge, a kettle and a toaster. Start the morning right with a delicious, locally sourced welcome breakfast hamper comprising sourdough, eggs, local jams, honey, butter and milk.
Next door to the kitchen is a modern bathroom, complete with a rainfall showerhead, a WC, underfloor heating and a range of organic toiletries to enjoy.
When the sun starts to set and the sky fills with stars, head up the ladder to the cosy mezzanine and sink into the cosy super-king bed.
Outside, you will have access to a large south-facing balcony. Toast marshmallows on the fire pit and cook delicious, locally sourced delights on the BBQ whilst admiring the exceptional woodland views.

Sustainability
The bothy was crafted using sustainable materials with a focus on being as eco-friendly and energy efficient as possible. It is constructed entirely from timber, and there is more insulation (which is made of woodfibre) than the average UK home. It has large triple glazing, underfloor heating and a Danish Mørso woodburning stove.
If you would like to make your visit more sustainable book onto any of the guided tours on the estate to plant trees or participate in the estate's 10-year wildlife plan by undertaking a bat or pollinator assessment. The estate is in its fourth year of extensive flora and fauna collection.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.
Accidental Damage Deposit: To maintain the highest standards in our properties, guests will need to pay a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200 prior to their stay. An advance payment as detailed in the booking summary can be made to waive this requirement.
Book with confidence: If your booking is affected by new Government travel restrictions which were not known at the time of booking, and you are legally unable to travel, we will arrange with the property owner to refund 100% of your holiday cost.
