South Elmsall is a parish town in the greater Wakefield area. Just a short 10 minute stroll from the house will take you to the towns high street with it's wide variety of shops, supermarkets, takeaways, and transport amenities.
The house itself is located next to the Frickley Country Park estate, a former colliery that is now large nature reserve. Frickley Country Park has several kilometers of paths to explore on bike or foot, along with playing fields, wild flower gardens, and water ponds. With spectacular views of the Yorkshire countryside, makes this an ideal place to catch an evening sunset.
Guests will have access to the entire property for the duration of their stay.
Built in 2017, the home has been further enhanced with a complete remodel and redesign of it's interior and decor. The property now features a generously proportioned open plan living area, along with with luxurious furnishings and appointments throughout the home. With newly installed aluminium bi-folding doors that overlook the homes established private garden, guests will unwind in style during their stay at Collier's Retreat.
Please note, that although a travel cot is provided, you will need to bring your own travel cot bed linen.
South Elmsall is just off junction 38 on the A1 M motorway. The town is served by two railway stations, South Elmsall Station and Moorthorpe station. These stations have direct links to Doncaster, Wakefield, Leeds, and Sheffield city centres.
