Summary: We stayed at this apartment for 4 nights with our family of 2 adults and 3 children (ages 11, 9, and 5). It is nicely furnished, and it's Belgian comic-strip-themed decor adds a lot of charm. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, and they made themselves available for questions throughout the booking process and also during the stay. It may be difficult to tell from the pictures, but there is a queen-size bed in the only separate bedroom, a convertible couch/queen-size bed in the sitting area, and a twin bed in the loft. (If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs: the bedroom and loft face the street, which also has a busy tram line.) The kitchen is fully equipped: electric stove top, oven, microwave oven, senseo coffee maker, electric kettle, and dishwasher. There were ample plates, glasses, coffee cups, silverware, etc. for us to go a few days of eating breakfast in before having to run the dishwasher. The owners have created a really easy, key-free system for accessing the apartment. They also made the garage available to us for parking our rental car. The street is very crowded, making on-street parking difficult; so it was extremely convenient to have a dedicated parking spot available. The neighborhood near the apartment has a supermarket, a couple of bakeries, and restaurants/cafes within easy walking distance. Public transportation is also easily accessible. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we would strongly consider staying there on our next visit to Brussels.
