Nestled in a quiet, secluded position, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and surrounded by National Trust farmland, Hazel Cottage is an attractive farm property with lovely views and parking for two cars. Guests can expect peace and tranquillity in abundance, and can enjoy numerous walking opportunities, with the South West Coast Path easily accessible. Walk through the delightful valley to the secluded beach Soar Mill Cove, only accessible on foot, or venture further towards Salcombe or Hope Cove. Salcombe and Kingsbridge are three and five miles away respectively, whilst the village of Malborough, with its pubs, small shop and post office, is just a 2-3 minute drive or 30 minute countryside walk. Recently extended and updated to provide a good standard of accommodation throughout, the property has a cosy sitting room, beautifully finished kitchen/dining room, shower room and double bedroom all on the ground floor. On the first floor there is a second double bedroom, and a twin room with zip and link beds which can be set up as a King-size bed (please request at time of booking). At this level there is also a small 'snug' room, ideal for children, with sofa/day-bed, plus a family bathroom. Outside, the property has a large terrace with lovely views, picnic table and built-in barbeque - plus a mature garden with good-sized lawn, trees and shrubs, and a further courtyard with a shed/utility room. It is located just 2 miles from the popular sailing town of Salcombe, with an array of popular shops and restaurants. Boasting a beautiful, scenic coastline, Salcombe is ideal for enjoying sailing, watersports, coastal walking or for simply soaking up the sunshine. Observe the plentiful wildlife in the area, including the clifftop area of Bolberry Down, visit several country houses and gardens close by or explore the nearby market town of Kingsbridge. Alternatively, drive to the National Park at Dartmoor, just 15 miles away. A perfect holiday location, with much to see and do.
