As dusk nears and the sun starts to set, Inverewe Garden begins to empty and you and your guests have free reign of the lush, sub-tropical-style oasis, filled with eucalyptus, Chinese lantern flowers and Californian lilac, meandering down to the shores of Loch Ewe. Wander the gardens, taking in the unique scents and perfumes of the rare and exotic plants, from Wollemi pines, Himalayan blue poppies and rhododendrons from China, Nepal and the Indian subcontinent. Enjoy the locally sourced food at Osgood's Café for an afternoon lunch, or grab a silky cup of coffee at the Bothy in the morning as you explore the area, before heading over to the visitors centre to plan your day.
