In the neighbouring town of Cheltenham, is the Cotswold Farm Park, a lovely working farm that was set up to protect rare breeds - and is still preserved today. Your little ones will love it here as they get to meet over 50 breeds of animals, and have fun in the adventure barn, which has JCB rides and a large indoor sandpit. There is something for everyone here! Upper Mill Barn is the place to be for sightseers interested in the village's rich history.
Coln St Aldwyns is a peaceful and friendly village bordered by the River Coln and surrounding by refreshing green countryside. The chocolate-box village of Bibury is just a couple of miles away, known for its rows of quaint stone cottages and surrounding greenery. Slightly further afield is the striking market town of Cirencester, laced with attractive buildings and varying attractions. Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh are among the most characterful and must-visit locations close by.
