This Polesworth cottage provides a charming double galleried bedroom with sloping ceiling, exposed beams and a luxurious bathroom with freestanding slipper bath. Set in the oldest part of the gatehouse, a three-bay chamber provides open plan living accommodation which has been lovingly furnished with a well-equipped fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an original stone fireplace and warming woodburner. The town of Tamworth is a large market town which takes its name from the River Tame which flows through the town, along with the River Anker. Tamworth is home to both Tamworth Castle and the Moat House, two wonderful, historic buildings. The town is also home to the Snowdome, a full-sized indoor ski slope with real-snow and Drayton Manor Theme Park is not far away, providing a fun-filled day out for everyone.
