Set in a Conservation Area and known as one of Shakespeare's villages, the pretty village of Pebworth dates back to Saxon times and boasts many timber framed buildings and thatched cottage. Located on the edge of the Cotswolds the village plays host to many local events throughout the year including the Open Garden scheme and rural cinema. A short drive takes you to the famous villages of Broadway and Chipping Campden, as well as Morton in Marsh and Evesham to name just a few. For those wanting to catch up on a bit of theatrical culture there is Stratford upon Avon which hosts the famous Shakespeare Theatre and several Shakespearian buildings, shops, restaurants and the lovely river with its colourful canal boats. Oxford, Cheltenham and Warwick are also within an easy commute. For those with younger children there is the "All ThingsWild" centre to go to and enjoy a host of activities centres on animals and nature.
