The river offers a perfect way to explore by walking or cycling alongside it, meeting the River Severn down at Chepstow. Monmouthshire is the food capital of Wales and as such you are never far from a wealth of good eateries and farm shops; head to the market towns of Monmouth and Abergavenny to sample some of the local produce or enjoy a drink.
