Alternatively, if using public transport, you can access several buses or the taxi rank at Rothesays Guildford Square (across from the ferry terminal).
The bus stop is across the road from the flat and gives access to any of the main sights on the island (Mount Stuart, Rothesays Castle, Guilford Square, Ettrick Bay, and the main ferry terminal).
The location is quiet and a five minute walk to the Skeoch woods which also provide some gentle woodland walks overlooking the coast.
