A shaker-style, well-equipped kitchen/diner includes a large table, and seating for up to 10 people. The living room features an original hamstone fireplace with wood burning stove. There is a 55” smart TV and plenty of comfortable seating.
The first-floor has under-floor heating and comprises two super-king bedrooms: one en-suite, the other with huge proportions, triple aspect views and easy access to a family bathroom. Both bathrooms are well appointed with over-bath, high-pressure rain showers.
A lawned front garden with flower borders has a picnic bench and barbecue for alfresco dining in summer months. Guests have the opportunity to explore the surrounding grounds with walks across the fields to the nearby river and bookable access to the tennis court. The pretty market town of Sherborne with its boutique shops, famous Abbey and castles, along with the well serviced town of Yeovil are both within easy reach.
For larger groups, Bake House Cottage (sleeps six guests) is located next door.
