Saltburn is six miles away and has kept much of its Victorian heritage, including the oldest water balanced cliff tramway in Britain, well worth a visit. Skinningrove is an ideal place base to discover the wonderful moorland scenery and the many coastal towns and villages in the area, making it a great holiday base.
