This 16th century historic lodge in the grounds of Barra Castle is named after a previous owner, and now Abercrombie has been lovingly renovated into a luxurious self-catering apartment which is tastefully appointed and stylishly designed in a Scandinavian Hygge style. The well-equipped kitchenette allows our guests to make a home cooked meal, although the local village of Oldmeldrum is just less than a 5-minute drive, and nearby market town of Inverurie, 3 miles, both offer great dining options. Comfort has been at the forefront of the design with bespoke beds and mattresses from royal warrant holders, Glencraft, made up with sumptuous Egyptian cotton bed linen. The contemporary bathrooms are equipped with power showers, underfloor heating, heated towel rails and mirrors.
