With spacious bedrooms, a big farmhouse kitchen and a large lounge, the house is reminiscent of a slower more pensive way of life. The lounge was once the artist's studio, and is beautifully lit by a huge north-facing window. This, along with the conservatory, and the private garden, allow plenty of space for a members of a big group to be together, but also to escape on their own. Adjacent to the house is the new games room, equipped with a table tennis table, a good sound system and an overhead projector for viewing movies or sky TV. Outside, beyond the garden, is the Bolegh Fogou, a 2000 year old cave or temple, which was once part of an iron-age settlement; just one of numerous such Ancient Celtic Sites to be found in the far west of Cornwall. There are well worn paths to follow through the woods, many made by badgers and foxes, and one, trodden more by humans, which will direct you down through the valley to the local pub, the Lamorna Wink, or on to the Cove where there is a small café overlooking the harbour beach and the waves rolling in across the Atlantic.
