Devon and Cornwall offer fantastic coastal walking and boast sandy beaches and hidden coves, ideal for surfing or exploring the many rock pools. Fishing, tennis, horse riding, pony trekking and an 18-hole golf course are all close by. The Tarka Trail is one of the country’s longest, traffic-free, walking and cycling paths, and forms part of the Devon Coast to Coast cycle route. Beach 27 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 350 yards.
