Stowmarket is home to the Museum of East Anglian Life, and has shops, restaurants, a leisure centre and trains to London (1½ hours). Situated in the heart of Suffolk with many picturesque towns and villages to visit including Bury St Edmunds, Diss, Eye, Debenham, Lavenham and Long Melford, all with interesting shops, restaurants, amenities and attractions. Visit the county towns of Norwich and Ipswich, the Suffolk Heritage coastal towns of Southwold and Aldeburgh, the ancient burial ground at Sutton Hoo (National Trust) and Stonham Barns.
