Furthermore, there are a number of National Trust attractions a little further afield, the 19th-century Penrhyn Castle and Gardens in Bangor and the 18th-century Plas Newydd House and Gardens in the small village of Llanfair PG, (Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch) which are both well worth a visit.
