Sleeping six people across three bedrooms (One super king room with en-suite, a double room and a twin room), this is the perfect retreat for families or groups of friends who want to explore the stunning beaches and pretty villages of Suffolk together. Spend happy days strolling the sands at Dunwich Beach or spotting wildlife at RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve; and in the evening, come home to this lovely cottage to chat with your loved ones around the glowing wood burner in the sitting room.
Step inside and you’ll find that you have two generous sitting rooms to choose from, which is a real bonus for multi-generational groups. Take a moment to make yourself at home before heading to the light and spacious kitchen/diner to prepare your favourite dishes for your loved ones. Gather everyone around the inviting dining table to eat, or head out into the patio in the spacious garden to dine alfresco while you soak up the wonderful country views. After dinner, take in the sunset from the patio, or stretch out in front of the TV in the sitting room. When it’s time for bed, you’ll find three lovely bedrooms to choose from upstairs.
Pack a picnic and enjoy a day at Dunwich Beach (3 miles) – a lovely expanse of shingle that seems to go on forever in both directions. Further afield, head to Southwold Beach (9 miles) to take a stroll along the pier or treat yourself to some fish and chips. Or make your way to RSPB Minsmere Nature Reserve (3 miles) to hike the trails in search of marsh harrier, otters, water voles and natterjack toads.
