This beautiful period cottage has been thoughtfully decorated and totally refurbished to retain its original character and making it the perfect coastal escape. Sitting just above the village on the east side, the property benefits from the afternoon and evening sunshine and has lovely views across the valley to the sea. Just a two minute walk will bring you into the quaint fishing village with its locally run shops, pubs and restaurants, not forgetting the lovely pebble beach which is great for skimming stones, exploring the many rockpools and fishing trips for mackerel.
The property offers light and attractive rooms over two floors, the cottage offers flexible accommodation with kitchen, WC, lounge / dining room with wood-burner, perfect for cosy evenings on the ground floor and one bedroom with a king size bed, which can be converted into two singles, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with luxury bath, perfect for a soak after walking the coast path, on the first floor. The property is accessed via a private gated path. Guests will feel relaxed in this home from home with everything you need for an enjoyable stay in this beautiful part of Devon. Exmouth and Sidmouth are both within a short drive and offer a range of activities, also nearby are Beer Caves, Seaton Wetlands, Pecorama Model Village, The Donkey Sanctuary, Bicton Park and Otterton Mill, Oak Mead Golf, Crealy Adventure Park or why not simply enjoy a day at one of the many beach hut cafes, making a purchase from the Wet Fish Shop, walk in the shoes of The Salt Path film along the South West Coast Path or merely browsing in the galleries and enjoying a Devon Cream Tea. Utility area: Adjoined to kitchen, with spare fridge (ideal for extra refreshments!) washing line for hanging wet items and additional hanging racks for swimming gear and wetsuits. Fishing nets, body boards, windbreak and portable tables for loan by guests.

FIRST FLOOR
Bedroom 1: Zip & link king bed (made up as 2'6" single beds on request) with large wardrobe and chest of drawers with a lovely view out across Beer and to the sea and beach. Original feature fireplace and bedside tables.

Outside space: Fully enclosed patio to the front, surrounded by flower beds enclosed by railway sleepers. Garden furniture set provides an opportunity to relax in a sunny spot and enjoy amazing views across Beer. Culinary herbs planted for guests enjoyment in teas and cooking.
Parking: Free parking for 2 hours nearby. Electronic Parking permit provided with property for nearby car park.
Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
