The North Coast 500 takes in the entire northern Highlands north of Inverness. To the east you’ll find beaches, the lovely Black Isle and the resident pod of dolphins in the Moray Firth, as well as Culloden Battlefield. And to the south is the awesome Cairngorm National Park with ski slopes, hiking trails and mountain bike routes. Castlefield really is at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands.
