Set in 5 acres of grounds this original stone croft cottage has been completely gutted and then painstakingly restored, and now provides the best of modern living whilst retaining a truly olde worlde ambiance. The cottage lounge is a real delight, with exposed stone wall and deep window sills. The bright modern kitchen has built-in units throughout and plenty of room for dining. Steep cottage stairs lead up to two beautifully presented double bedrooms (some height restriction due to original sloping ceilings). There is an immaculate modern shower room downstairs.
Situated on the owner’s croft at the end of small lane that adjoins open moorland, it is a walkers’, nature lovers and outdoor enthusiast’s paradise. Pine marten, otters, seals and a myriad of bird life are all seen in the area. This wonderful cottage is also just off the North Coast 500 route making it ideal for walkers and cyclists alike. Inverewe Gardens is also nearby and make a great day out for all the family. The owner can arrange for pre-delivery of groceries on request.
