It has been finished to a high standard with under floor heating on the ground floor and offers extremely spacious and luxurious accommodation for families or friends to share. There are double height windows and door to the front opening into the large and welcoming living space. There is a separate fully fitted and well equipped kitchen and there are two first floor double bedrooms, both with their own en-suite shower rooms. There is a secluded private garden to the side with a table and chairs set under the pergola. Salts Barn is located just outside the village of Loose which is 2 miles south of Maidstone in a conservation area. This really is an ideal base from which to explore the countryside and the coastline of Kent so don't forget to pack your walking boots as there are plenty of footpaths from the doorstep. Loose is a small village 2 miles south of Maidstone and situated at the heart of the Loose Valley which forms the Loose Valley Conservation Area. It is under an hours drive to the historic City of Canterbury, the seaside town of Whitstable famous for its oysters and Rye with its medieval cobbled streets Places of interest locally are Leeds Castle with Go-Ape and its Segway Tours. There are a few National Trust properties near by; Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, Bodiam and Scotney. There are famous gardens at Great Dixter, Pashley Manor and Hole Park, all great at different flowering times of year. Golf at Chart Hills. Frankie's Farmshop just outside Staplehurst and vineyards offering tastings and tours - Balfour Winery in Staplehurst and Chapel Down, Tenterden. Maidstone is only 2 miles away with great shopping and plenty of restaurants and bars and also Mote Park which is an award-winning park with 450 acres of mature parkland and a 30 acre lake, providing a wide range of recreational activities including a children's play area. Ashford International is 14 minutes drive away.
