Unpack the fresh Cornish produce you have bought and start whipping up lunch in the kitchen area. Dine at the table inside or out on the patio. Spend your evenings relaxing together on the soft seating inside, taking turns to plan the night’s viewing. When you are ready to retire for the night, you’ll find one of your bedrooms, a twin, also at ground-floor level. A double bedroom is up on the first floor of the property. This gorgeous room, which has charming, sloped ceilings creating some restricted head height, captures the sea views. The cottage’s shower room, which adjoins the double bedroom, is up here too. Decide whether to have breakfast out in the sunshine every morning before heading off on the next adventure.
Head to the beach at Porthpean, 2.5 miles away, or Pentewan, 6 miles away, for a change of scene. Visit the scenic fishing village of Mevagissey, 7 miles away, and plan an afternoon or two out in the fashion coastal town of Fowey, about the same distance from the cottage. While you are here catch the ferry across the estuary to the delightful village of Polruan.
