Tucked away in an elevated, sylvan setting with views over beautiful, well-tended, sub-tropical gardens to the sea, this end-of-terrace, single-storey chalet is set in a small, peaceful, private development of twenty-six similar properties on the southernmost tip of the island. It has its own parking in a private gated carpark, and a series of steps take you up to the well-equipped holiday property, which is comfortably furnished, and has a large enclosed, south-facing timber-decked verandah equipped with table, umbrella and relaxing sun-loungers. The chalet provides a great base from which to explore this lovely island, with superb walks down to the local beach or along the adjacent coastal path. Delightful, unspoilt Niton village, a short walk away, boasts a pub, general store, pharmacy, post office and tea rooms, while a famous 16th-century inn is only 10 minutes’ walk away for home-cooked food, fine wines and local ales. Within a short drive are the attractions at Blackgang Chine, miles of unspoilt countryside and the glorious seaside resorts of Ventnor, Shanklin and Sandown. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.
