De Bosuil is meticulously decorated with attention to atmosphere and coziness. In summer, you can retreat to the lush garden, and as the evening falls, you can relax under the pleasant canopy, prolonging your enjoyment of outdoor life. Surrounded by greenery, De Bosuil provides instant relaxation!
We, Jaap Jan and Sophie, have been the proud owners of 't Turfwegje since 2022. Last year, we bid farewell to the Randstad, sold our house, and embarked on a new adventure with our three cats: running a holiday park.
It all started for us four years ago as guests at De Bosuil. Our love for the Veluwe forests, the birds, but especially the park and the location grew from there. When the previous owners mentioned at the kitchen table that they wanted to retire due to their age, a spark ignited within us. We fantasized about a life in beautiful Putten and decided to do everything in our power to keep the magic of 't Turfwegje alive, thus becoming the new owners. The park has a rich and warm history, which is palpable. It's not a manicured, mass park, but a cozy and intimate place where everyone immediately feels at home. It's still the best decision of our lives, and we look forward to sharing this place with more people.
De Bosuil With an eye for detail and atmosphere, this wooden chalet is decorated. It's warm, cozy, and you'll feel right at home. In the living room, you can sink into the sofa with a book while the birds provide the background music. There's also a dining table with four chairs where you can work, eat, or play a game. The kitchen is fully equipped. There's a Nespresso machine, kettle, and plenty of pans, plates, etc to cook something delicious yourself. De Bosuil has 1 bedroom with a lovely double bed (1.60). In the renovated bathroom, you'll find a shower, toilet, and sink. The space is heated by a cozy gas stove, which quickly warms up De Bosuil.
The garden at De Bosuil is truly delightful! You share it with birds, squirrels, hedgehogs, and our cats :) Relax in the hammock or sit under the cozy canopy. This is a magical spot where you can also enjoy outdoor life in less favorable weather!
Bicycles can be stored in the shed. There are also two bikes available for you to use during your stay.
Putten is surrounded by forests, heathlands, and lakeshores, making it an ideal region for nature lovers. In spring, you can enjoy the fresh green leaves, lambs in the meadow, and beautiful flowers. Summer days are perfect for activities along the lakeshores or relaxing in the shade in the forests. The summer ends with picturesque purple heathlands. In autumn, you can admire all the beautiful autumn colors, mushrooms, and roaring deer. During a severe winter, you can ice skate on the Nuldernauw.
The center of Putten is full of charming restaurants and an extensive range of shops. Putten is also very conveniently located. Not only is it easily accessible from the Randstad, but there are also many tourist attractions nearby, such as the Apenheul, Paleis 't Loo, and Nulde Beach. Putten itself offers tourist attractions such as the forest tower, Landgoed Schovenhorst, Sauna Drôme, and the forest pool.
