The finely wrought Georgian architecture above is visible from this wide basement entrance, dotted with pot plants. The smartly tiled foyer leads to a huge, comfortable living area with 2 large sash windows. Three alcoves which would have housed the kitchen range and ovens in Georgian times, have been brought up to date with a 42'' 3D TV (with BT Vision and i-Player) on one side and a selection of movies and a music system with i-pad and i-phone docking on the other. In front of the central gas fireplace are two sumptuous leather sofas to seat 6 and two leather bean-bags. There is contemporary art on the walls along with a long rosewood sideboard and drinks cabinet with fine glassware.
There is a lively sporting theme in the dining room with pictures and framed memorabilia of favourite events. The elegant mahogany dining table to seat 6 even converts to a pool and snooker table. Pretty sideboards store tableware and a selection of games and a tall sash window overlooks a serene private courtyard garden.
