Positive: Lovely barn conversion, very comfortable, spacious, cosy, well thought-out design, in an area of spectacular scenery and very close to Llangollen with all the necessary facilities. The utility room was very useful; given the wet weather and having a dog we could dry the dog (and ourselves!) in here before going into the house, and also leave our wet coats to dry. Hot tub was a definite bonus. We also had the use of a small paddock, accessed through the stable yard. This was good for quick dog exercise/toilet breaks, as there are no public footpaths accessible directly from the property.

Negative: We struggled with the noise of the dogs in the adjacent property, which we think is connected to the barn? Dogs were let out at 6.30am during the week and 6am on Saturday, so we were woken every morning by their barking/yapping. There is also an outside dog kennel which is situated directly under one of the Barn's bedroom windows and next to the end wall of the lounge, so when the dogs are in here during the day (not every day) there can be a lot of barking, yapping and whining.

Summary: Lovely barn conversion, but could have done without the canine alarm clocks next door!
