Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: We stayed for three nights, loved the location, short drive from local areas we wanted to visit yet felt away from it all. Immaculately kept property. High end furnishings and level of comfort. Large bedroom with comfortable large bed, quality bedding, large open plan living space with fully fitted kitchen area and dinning space, large bathroom with beautiful free standing bath. There is a covered seating area in the field opposite to the property which you have access to, sadly we did not have chance to use it as we had busy days and the evenings were bitterly cold. We plan to return in better weather. This really is a lovely holiday rental.

Negative: The property is accessed via steps to the side of the owners property then a spiral staircase which was difficult to get the cases up, taking a smaller holdall would have been easier. We had ice and snow when we visited which did not help. All doable but just be aware. As the rental property is at the top level of the owner's property it does not have large windows to make the most of the views (lots of quality Velux and smaller windows ), minor point but it is in such a truly beautiful area it would have been a bonus to see from living space (there is however great outdoor space).

Summary: Immaculately kept property, beautiful location.
