Positive: Beautiful cottage and very friendly hosts! Communication was fantastic. Check-in was easy and the hosts had emailed everything in advance. They left a welcome pack, which was a lovely surprise! The cottage has everything needed for a great family getaway. The rooms were large with lots of space and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom is huge and beautifully decorated. Large free-standing bath and large shower! The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious enough for everyone to sit around the large dining table. The living room has a log fire, which we unfortunately did not use, but would be lovely in the winter! We did not spend enough time here as we were just using the cottage as a base for Alton Towers. Would definitely love to return and spend more time relaxing in this beautiful place.
