Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Location was good and easy access to main roads. Garden was great for our visiting Grandchildren. Peaceful and quiet location surrounded by trees. Beautiful cottage full of age and very calm environment. bedrooms were nice and cool despite the very hot weather during our stay. Very quiet rooms.

Negative: Very low water pressure in bathroom - if any tap in kitchen or cloakroom was used no water for showering. Working fireplace in advert photos but not actually available on arrival which was a big disappointment. No gate on garden directly outside house so 1 visitor unable to attend because of dog security. herb garden overgrown with weeds which was a shame. A lot of old discarded toys - many broken. Kitchen could be better supplied (ie. no cheese greater, a lot of chipped dishware), no iron or ironing board. Info for dustbins and collectors days would have been helpful - did the best we could. Bedroom with bunk beds - top bunk not cleaned - full of bugs and nail varnish. We understand it is the country but the Spider webs were out of control.

Summary: Overall enjoyed our stay.
