Positive: The cottage is in a lovely location. The hosts were very welcoming, it is well equipped.

Negative: The directions were a little unclear, there is no sign for The Old Stables either at the top of the lane or on the drive up to the house. On a couple of nights there was quite a lot of noise from night time motorway works just across the lake, there were quite a few cobwebs in the property. The road up to the property is in a terrible state with potholes, but to be fair Im not sure who is responsible for its maintenance.
