Travel Purpose: business

Positive: Quiet location, kitchen well equipped, comfortable beds, good location handy for North Cornwall and Bude. Hot tub included and hot on arrival - kids absolutely loved, especially after a cold winter day on the beach. Very friendly hosts. Washer and dryer was a god send after rainy days. House was always warm, the bathroom has a heated floor which was lovely. Garden for the kids to use is a thoughtful addition, they could easily have said it was out of bounds for guests.

Negative: Whole house being wood means it is difficult to move through the house quietly at night or early morning - lots of creaking. If you don't wake or go to bed at different times this will not be a problem. Property is very 'wipeable', great for easy cleaning but maybe loses some of its comfort factor with this. Hot tub location is not private. Ok if, like us, you are just in it with the kids but not if you want to relax privately - you will have people walking past from the property car park. However, can't really see where else they could put it, so it is still worth it.

Summary: Comfortable cottage, close to Bude. Friendly owners.
