Walkers will love the direct footpaths from the property to the coast (1.5 miles) and surrounding villages, with the iconic Strumble Head Lighthouse just 3 miles away – don’t forget to look out for seals. For days out, Goodwick (3 miles) is packed with water sports and wildlife-watching opportunities, while Fishguard (4.5 miles) has dramatic cliffs, sheltered coves and scenic walking trails. For a beautiful beach experience, head to Pwllgwaelod (9.5 miles), a small sandy beach with views over Fishguard Harbour. Natural materials like wood, slate, lime plaster and clay paint give this eco-conscious cottage a warm and earthy charm. Step inside to a bright open-plan space that brings everyone together – the cosy lounge area has a large sofa and easy chairs by the wood burner, while the family-sized dining table is perfect for a leisurely evening feast. The one-of-a-kind, hand-built wooden kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for meal prep, and there’s a Smart TV and stereo system for relaxing evenings in. The downstairs bedroom features two generously sized single beds and an en-suite wet room. All towels and linens are organic. Upstairs, you’ll find a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom – please note that this room is accessed by an alternate tread staircase, which may not suit everyone. The cottage is powered by solar thermal energy and has its own private water supply. Outside, a gravel courtyard and dining area at the front of the property set you up perfectly for al fresco meals. The property is surrounded by acres of meadows and woodland to explore on foot – fab for dog walks. During your stay, you’re also welcome to roam the old Llandruidion Farm and meet the resident animals. There is private parking for 2 cars.
